Gino Bueza ’05 wins Shell National Student’s art competition

Brod. Gino Bueza ’05 for wins the top prize at the 40th Shell National Student’s Art Competition (NSAC) – one of the longest running art competition in the Philippines.

Gino Bueza’s “Border beyond Good and Evil” 3×3 feet acrylic on Canvas, stood out from the 100 art pieces on display at the Ayala Museum. Gino Bueza bagged home a total of 50,000.00 cash, a trophy, medals and a plaque of recognition.

Gino Along with his Batchmate Redd Nacpil will exhibit their latest works in a group show on December 2007.

Other Brods have made their mark in the NSAC, among them Manolo Sicat ’04, whose “Tulak ng Masa” innovations with Epoxy in sculpture was named one of the finalist in the category. Sis. Tonet Cac ’02 was also named finalist in the Oil/ Acrylic Category.
